Description
Everybody recognises the Kremlin as one of the symbols of Moscow, but very few people actually have an idea of what it looks like from the inside. A shame, because it's much more beautiful on the inside than it is from the Red Square! Case in point, the Cathedral Square in the centre of the Kremlin hosts three cathedrals (Assumption, Archangel and Annunciation) as well as Ivan the Great Bell Tower, pictured here. Built in 1508, it was the tallest building in Moscow at the time.
